♥ Bodyshop Nutriganics: Softening Cleansing Gel & Drops of Youth

I bought the Bodyshop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel & Drops of Youth today.
Since it was my birthday yesterday (thanks for the congratulations), and I have a Bodyshop clubcard I got a gift from the Bodyshop worth £5.

I have been meaning to buy a new facial cleanser and moisturiser so I thought I'd tried this since I'd read a few good things about it.

The drops of youth gel comes with this kind of applicator. If you look at the first picture you can see that the lid has a "button" on top of it, you use this to get the product out. Oh, and it's not a serum which you might think. The consistency is really similar to Aloe Vera gel, and it is clear, not green (thats just the bottle)

So there are no parabens or silicones in these but the top ingredients are definitely not all natural.

These are the ingredients of the cleansing gel. It feels like a cleansing cream more than a gel, and also because it's whitish, not clear. To be honest I'm more impressed with these ingredients.
The first one is Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (click here to see what this is) and the second one is Simmondsia Chinese Seed Oil, which is Jojoba Oil.

Have you tried it or read any reviews of these? If you have, let me know what you though or send me links of reviews..

♥ Floral Print

Yes I know we've all seen it everywhere- floral prints. I can't stress enough how much I dont care about trends and dislike anything mainstream, but I can't help liking these prints.

It might have something to do with the fact that I love bright colours.

H&M Floral Print Sheer Blouse

H&M Gold chain bracelet

Zara trouser/leggins with gold zips

What do you think of this trend?

♥ MUA Primer & Shadow review

Makeup Academy Eyeshadow Palette Glitterball and eyelid primer review.

In these pictures I've used This palette and This primer, both from MUA.
It might now show in the pictures, but most of the shadows are extremely shimmery, almost too much. I'd say the single eyeshadow are a bit more pigmented, but these are ok.

This picture is from when I got home around 5pm. As you can see it looks practically the same, doesn't it? So I think they both worked well!

What do you think of these?
Have you tried the primer?

♥ Healthy Smoothie Recipe & Exercise of today

So one thing that probably doesn't come across as much as I'd like in my blog is my interest in health and fitness. Im health crazy or anything, I eat unhealthy things as much as I eat healthy stuff basically. But I love both of them.

As it is now I go gym once a week and do some exercises at home during the week. I thought I would start sharing my work out of today (WOOT, Just googled this and apparently this means Work Outfit Of Today- well not anymore ;) ), is that something you think I should keep doing?

Here it goes, if you don't know the exercise, just click on the name, I've linked a picture :)

Treadmill: Warm Up 5 min walk
Leg press 90 kg: 25 reps
Dumbbell Lunges (one weight in each hand): 12kg x 12 || 14kg x 10 || 16kgx8 || 18kgx6
Rowing Machine (Resistance 9): 2000 metres
Elliptical (Crosstrainer): 30 minutes (low level, got lazy here, but atleast I did it)

-Remember, do the strength exercises first!
-Dont forget to warm up!
-Drink LOADS of water (I finished two big water bottles)

Raspberry and Flaxseed (Linseed) Smoothie

I'd also like to share my favourite Smoothie recipee. It's really healthy and soo nice.

-Fill a 1/3 of the glass with Raspberries (I used mixed berries which are sold in both Tesco and Sainsbury's) I really recommend buying frozen berries, both because it's convenient and it makes you smoothie nice and cold.
-1 banana
-1 teaspoon Cinnamon
-1 teaspoon Linseeds/Flaxseeds
-1 teaspoon honey
-Fill up with Soymilk (You can use Greek Yoghurt too for example but I'd recommend Soy Milk)

Cinnamon and Linseed might sound strange but you shouldn't leave them out, these are the benefits:

"A cinnamon and weight loss study (Journal of Clinical Nutrition) showed that ingesting a teaspoon of cinnamon decreases one's blood sugar levels. When ingested, cinnamon has similar characteristics to insulin. It boosts the body's metabolism of glucose and therefore decreases blood sugar levels.
Cinnamon also helps to fight hunger pains and cravings. It improves the digestion process and assimilates more nutrients into the body which in turn make you feel fuller for longer (the opposite of what fast food does)"

Linseed/Flaxseed (What it says on the package)

-Has a high content of Omega 3 essential fatty acids.
-Helps to maintain digestive regularity
-Contains a balance of 50% soluble and 50% insoluble fibre

Mixed in my new Kenwood Smoothie to go blender. Love it!

What do you do in the gym?
Do you have any great smoothie recipes to share?

♥ £3 Red Pout?

I wore this post today so I thought I'd share my tips for the perfect (and Cheap!) Pout.

The lipstick I use is £2 and the lipliner is £1.

-I use a concealer brush and my concealer to "draw" a line around my lips (around the lip line) (I used Sleek Concealer)
-Then use a lipliner to fill in your lip line (I use one for £1 from my local hair shop)
-Apply your lipstick, with a lip brush for the best result (I used my favourite one from Boots from Natural Collection £2)

What are your tips for the nice looking and long lasting lipstick?

♥ Nivea all natural?

So I bought this quite long ago but haven't mentioned it in the blog. Of course, I was drawn to the "pure & natural", from looking at the ingredients you can see that it's not exactly organic.

It claims to contain bio argan oil etc, and it does, just really far down the ingredient list. Not a lot of it in other words. However I do think it does the job, it is a moisturising day cream. It's light and I actually love what the formula's like, amazing smell too!

Got this hand cream the other day since I finished my Lavera one. I have to say the same about this, does the job, it's moistursing but nothing else. It also has all the oils and that kind of the ingrients at the bottom, for £1.7 for this big tube It's okey.

The ingredients

Have you tried any of these?
What are your favourite hand creams and face creams?

♥ 5 MUA for £5

So I had my 3,5 hour break at college today again.. so I couldn't really Not head to Superdrug to pick up these goodies :)

And as you porbably know they were £1 each.

I was so impressed by this nail polish. One layer was honestly enough although I used two. It wasn't quite as covering as the N7 polishes, but nearly. The polish on it's own was quite glossy, and I think the top coat (I bought that too) did a great job.

I really wanted to try their nail polishes since I hadn't but I didn't want to buy another polish of a colour I already had, just because they're cheap. So I went for this colour..

what do you think of the colour?

I'd been wanting to buy this lipstick for quite a while. It was in a collage I made recently (click)

The shade is nude/pink rather than orangy

I really like this! It's not for you if you want a matte super pigmented lipstick, but it's covering enough and it's super creamy!

I hate to show off light shades of lipstick because they tend to look really streaky/chapped lips.

I reckon it's because light colours don't really cover as much as dark, if you know what I mean?

ATT: Are these pics in line with each other, or is one above the other one? please answer in a comment. (they showed up weird when I wrote this post)?!

MUA Black Intense Colour Eyeliner Pencil: Needed a new eyeliner and I was soo impressed with the ingredients (yeah im obsessed with reading ingredients).

Here are a few of the first impressive ingredients (remember, this was £1):
Carnauba Wax, Bees Wax, Ceresin Cocoa Butter, Isopropyl Myristate,  DiethylhexylCyclohexane, Castor Oil

MUA Clear Mascara: I always use a clear mascara to set my eyebrows, or for my lashes aswelll sometimes. And this one is great at £1.

Have you tried any of these.. which MUA products do you recommend?
