♥ Coconut & Caramel

I randomly headed to my local hair shop the other day because there was a product I was thinking of trying. I can literally spend hours there just walking around, looking at every product, reading ingredients, and comparing (what a hobby) ..

Despite this I seemed to have missed two really exciting brand (or maybe because they were new in the shop), one brand called Curs and the other one called Mixed Chicks they are actually both made for multi ethnic women with curly hair. Of course, anyone can use them. I am "mixed" myself though (Swedish and Nigerian/English) but I still have really afroish natural hair that I relax.

I was so excited to find these new brand, I was probably at the counter for about 25 minutes, smelling, reading ingredients, thinking lol. Eventually I decided to go for the Curls products instead of the Mixed Chicks ones because even though the Curls products were expensive, they were cheaper then Mixed Chicks and they smell amaaaaazing (of Coconut and Caramel).

Here is a little something about Curls from HERE (Click to read the whole text)

"CURLS (and Curly Q's) products contain an exclusive blend of natural oils and quality ingredients, such as aloe leaf juice, panthenol, mango, shea and murmur butter. We’ve included a new, patent pending ingredient - a derivative of the primary lipid found at the hair surface. This important ingredient restores the integrity of your hair, protects the hair from environmental stress, and replenishes the protective layer bound to the hair cuticle."

Also, all their products are formulated with NO silicones, mineral oils, parabens or sulfates.

Curlicious Curls- Cleansing Cream (this does actually lather even though it's a "cleansing cream")
£7.99 (240 ml/8oz)

Description: Unbelievably moisturizing , this creamy, sulfate free cleanser hydrates and cleanses curls in one step. Ideal for curlies of all textures, and chemically altered or coloured hair.

Description: Super moisturizing rinse of conditioner guaranteed to hydrate and soften the driest curls. Great for mid week conditioning rinses too.

Directions: Apple to wet hair, detangle with a wide tooth comb. Leave on for 1-5 minutes then rinse.

Ingredients: They are actually Not the same as stated on the website.. so Im a bit confused.. Read them here on the website.

Curls Souffle- Medium Curl Cream- without hold £9.99 (240 ml, 8oz)

Description: Ideal for medium-thick textured tresses. Defines, defrizzes and moisturizes curls with a soft natural touch. This souffle textured cream locks in moisture while setting your curls.
Directions: Apply to freshly cleansed/conditioned hair, while it is still wet. Moisturize first with Quenched Curls Moisturizer. Scrunch Curl Souffle into hair, section by section. Allow hair to air dry. (I actually blow dried my hair with this, worked fine for me)

Ingredients: They are actually Not the same as stated on the website.. so Im a bit confused.. Read them here on the website.

Yeah I chose to show the result using my front Iphone camera lol, even though it's blurry it shows how it came out. And I only blow dry my hair, I dont straighten it.

Have you heard of, tried or used this brand?

♥ Bodyshop nail polish

I bought this polish a week ago or so, well I got it for free when I bought other stuff from Bodyshop. Usually, as I've said before I don't like black nail polish but when there is glitter in it I think it's alright.

I only used one coat and I was so suprised when I noticed how covering it was.. It's so pigmented!!

I'm really impressed by this, usually I think all polishes, cheap or expensive- are all the sam. But I really recommend this.

Have you tried Bodyshop's polishes?

♥ Do you know your perfumes?

So I told a friend today that she should always look for the perfume that says Eau de parfum not Eau de Toilette, because the Eau de parfum one has more perfume in it, and will therefor last for longer and give more of a scent. She had no idea so I thought I'd share this with those of you who don't know!

Different kinds of perfumes.. the stronger ones at that top..

Perfume: This is the most expensive type because it contains 15-40% perfume concentrates .. it is sometimes called perfume extract.

Eau de parfum: The most common and also the cheapest pefume. It contains 7-15% perfume concentrates and this kind works best sprayed on clothes or fabrics.
Examples: Britney Spears- Fantasy, Rihanna-Fleur..

Eau de toilette: 1-7% perfume concentrates.. It has a light scent that does not stay on for as long as the other ones. Watch out for this when you buy expensive perfumes thinking it will stay on for long (this is what my friend did)..

Eau de cologne: Similar to the one above.

Did you know this? Do you think about this when you buy perfumes?

Bodyshop for £10 in KFC

Been doing some shopping with my little sister (who's here visiting) and I decided to get A new shower gel from Body Shop since I walked past..

Then I saw that I could get four for £10.. Since i have a membership card and I was on my fifth buy since I got it I got a free gift for £5 Plus the 10% discount.

So I paid £10 for all of this

What do you think?

Blogging from my iPhone and also took the pictures with my phone so if it doesn't come out great you know why..

Haven't tried any of these.. basically tried all the other "scents"..

Mango-Olive-Grapefruit-Satsuma

I love this range if you read THIS review you will know what I mean.
Been looking for a new all round cream and the ingredients in this is great.
Back in the days I used to use Lemony Flutter from Lush which is great too.

Im not one to use black polishes.. but when I recently tried my mums glittery one (HERE) I found that it looks alright.. Anyway I got this one for free and it was on sale so I though I'd try it..

Had another pound to spend "for free" so I just got anyting that was roughly a pound.. Well it's nice and glittery lol..

Nail Polish swatch from a true food lover, ON a KFC tissue.

Have you used any of these?

♥ BB Creams

I know this Garnier BB cream is soo hyped in the blog world but I haven't tried it myself yet.

But today I was reading my new Glamour magazine and saw that N7 are releasing their own version of it I couldn't help but share this in my blog.

I haven't seen any reviews on it except for one now as I googled but that seemed to be a PR sample.
Has anyone tried the Garnier one?
Are you planning on trying the N7 one?

♥ Camera Issues..

So I randomly decided to try some stuff I hadn't really tried out.. some eyeshadows from the ELF palette and an eye glitter from a Swedish brand called Make Up Store..

It actaully came out alright but I my camera was NOT working with me today.. seriously.. It wouldn't focus and all focus went blurry these were the best I could get.. plus when using the flash the colours aren't accurate.

Looked so much nicer in reality but oh well..

This doesnt't show the right colours..

The elf palette.. I used 3 shadows you can probably guess which ones..

♥ How I do my.. ?

Eyeliner

So a few people have complimened me on how my eyeliner looks.. so I decided to do a little tutorial.

I tend to do everything "backwards" so I really doubt anyone else does it this way..

or do you

Either way you do it, this is a useful tip to get the angle of the liner right..

So this is how I do my eye liner.

1. Draw a line to get the angle right.. I usually dont use the pencil tip to do that but if your struggling it's useful.

2. Fill the outlines in.. to get the right shape

3. Fill in the rest!

My eyeliner the other day.. the pic above was just for the tutorial :)

And this is the eyeliner I use.. liquid eye liner from 2True.. only £1.99!

I tried out the ELF eyeshadow palette and the CK light pink lipstick

Omg can you beauty bloggers out there teach me how to take these kind off pics of your eyemake?
Either its not the right angle or I look CROSS EYED (like in this pic).. where do I look when I take these kind of pics ?
